So I'll be quick about it. (Plus I'm super-sick of thinking about it.) Sean got in and looked around. Indeed, it *is* a mess. It almost has to be gutted and redone. Yikes. So, we're going to put in a low-ball offer and see what happens. If they don't want to take it, we tried, and we'll move on. That's that.
On a more fun note, Natty and Isaac had their first "together bath" tonight! I was very nervous as Natty has trouble listening when he gets really excited (which he was), and when Isaac is involved. But it turned out really, really well! How fun. Here's some visuals of their time...

i think...do do doooo...good job on the low offer. as much as a pain in the ass as it is for you and dan to be living in different cities, really, what's the rush? get something you feel good about and isn't going to make you house-broke.
damn the housing market. it's making me grouchy.

Oh dear, plumbing that is a real disaster, we just had to redo our plumbing stack for a cost of 4000 dollars! it is costly and means a lot of holes in walls. I guess it depends if you mind living in renovation land!
Your boys look like they are having a great time, I am glad you are able to enjoy some routine at home but sorry you having to do it on your own. Single parenting is hard work!
