A big, hearty thanks to Ms. Shannon, who has all the expertise in this area, for styling both Natty and India's hair this morning. They were delighted that they both matched (thank goodness there are not any real stereotypes that they are aware of yet!) and had fun bouncing along all day--even when we went out to the Muttart Conservatory! hee hee. It was a twisted, fun thing to do. (And, I'll add, Dan thought it was hilarious too. But, probably not if I kept doing it.) They make a pretty little pair.

Wow. There's a coupl'a gorgeous kids!
I also want to add that I LOVE that you took Natty out in pigtails. I know that he's young and has no gender conciousness yet, really, but it's still really cool.
I have a friend who freaks if his son is PLAYING with something pink.
I think you made Natty's day by just letting him be like India and feeling connected to her in that way; you let him be part of the pigtail clan in a really innocent and beautiful way.
I think that's some KICK ASS parenting. Personally.
Gender conciousness... that's what I was trying to think of! You're so smart, Shannon!
Honestly, I felt a little silly doing it, but really glad that I was at the same time. And l loved watching Natty reach up and gently stroke his little pig tails all day--just to be sure they were still there. : )
